Biography

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Khan, S/o Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail Khan (Late/Former Principal, CVS), has been appointed as  Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science at UVAS, Lahore. He qualified DVM (Gold Medalist) in 1977 and M.Sc. (Hons.) (Silver Medal) in 1981 in Clinical Medicine from CVS. Prof. Sarwar obtained his PhD degree in Clinical Medicine in 1997 from CVS and served as Lecturer at CVS from 1981.  He has over 30 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He has served as Chairman, Department of Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Chairman Sports Board, acting Dean FVS Director Advanced Studies, Principal Officer Transport member of University Syndicate and on other different positions at UVAS, Lahore. Currently he is Convener, Standing Selection Committee, Convener, Scholarship Committee, Member Finance Committee and other different committees of the University.  He has supervised 8 PhD and 66 M. Phil students and published 131 research papers in national and international  Scientific Journals. He won two research projects from Higher Education Commission as PI and Co-PI, and two projects are under review process.
