General InformationIntroductionWelcome to the Department of Economics and Business Management at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. At this Department, we strive hard to provide quality education with excellence in theoretical and practical perspectives. The department offers three degree programs in total to cater the educational needs of different segments of the country. BBA program is one of its kind which fosters active learning approaches, instills innovation and explores the bounds of latest business strategies. UVAS Business school also offers M.Phil (Business Management) 2 years program. This Degree Program will enhance the research potential of graduates and allow them to be a change catalyst in industry and academia. To enhance research potential in the domain of livestock, the Department had joined hands with USAID-PEEP to establish a Centre for Applied Policy Research in Livestock (CAPRIL). It helped creating research opportunities for post graduate students as well as enhancing their research oriented skills. The department also has Export Facilitation Centre for Livestock and Poultry (EFCLP). We invite business professionals from real world to impart their practical knowledge and share personal experiences. Students are encouraged to participate in workshops, seminars and training sessions. The department of economics and business management is growing rigorously through extensions in its infrastructure and learning facilities. Our main focus is not only on the academics but also on personality development and grooming of students. Aditionally, highly qualified faculty and professional environment are our strengths.
