Biography
Dr. Hamid Akbar is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Sciences in 1999, Lahore. From the same Alma Mater he also obtained his M.Sc. (Hons) Degree in 2002.
Dr. Hamid Akbar began his professional career as a Lecturer in Surgery Section, Department of Clinical Medicine & Surgery, UVAS, where he taught Surgery to the undergraduates.
Dr. Hamid Akbar has fundamental expertise is in the field of Veterinary Surgery and Medical Disease Diagnostics (Radiography) and Small Animal Surgery. At UVAS, he is actively involved in teaching, research and administration, as well as conducting various kinds of small ruminant surgeries at the Surgery (Indoor) Clinic at UVAS, Lahore. His current research interests include veterinary anesthesia.
