Biography

Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed has recently joined the Department of Basic Sciences in the discipline of Biochemistry at KBCMA College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVAS), Narowal (Sub-campus of UVAS, Lahore) as an Assistant Professor (BPS)In Jan 31, 2019. Previously he had been serving in the same discipline for the past three years at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan and Khajwa Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan.
His major responsibilities include teaching, research and section’s administration. He holds Associate membership of American Society for Microbiology, USA, Malaysian Society for Human Genome, Malaysia, Zakariyan Biochemists Organization, B.Z University, Multan, Pakistan. Dr.Sarfraz Ahmed has 13research publications in well reputed national and international scientific journals and 5 book chapters in Springer & 1 booklet.

  • Molecular Biology of diseases, Cancer Biology, Recombinant DNA technology, Bioinformatics, Bacteriology, Viral diseases (Hepatitis C, HIV), Role of Complementary and alternative medicine in diseases, Drugs development, Naturalproducts and diseases.
