Report on 8th UVAS Annual Alumni Reunion 2017

8th Annual Alumni Reunion of UVAS was held on the eve of 31st March,2017. This time the venue was changed from the sports complex to the lush green main lawn located in the heart of city campus.  A big number of alumni from all over the country participated in the event. Capt (Retd) Dr.Muhammad Ashfaq (Ex Principal CVS) graced the evening as Chief Guest. The worthy Vice Chancellor of UVAS Meritorious Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha along with senior faculty members himself received the guests. The function started with the alumni sports events, in which all the alumni participated with full enthusiasm and recalled their golden days at this beautiful Alma mater. 

         As per the traditions of distinguished UVAS family, a DUA was offered for those precious souls who were with us not long ago, and left us for their heavenly abode. After that the worthy Vice Chancellor in his address highlighted the achievements of UVAS in the recent times, which were highly appreciated by the gathering. Beside that he also shared about his vision of taking his Alma mater to more pinnacles of success. After that the audience were amused with some sensational stage performances by the students and faculty of UVAS. The audience adore all the performances and applauded them.

         In the end Honourable Chief Guest gave away the prizes and certificates among the winners of all the sports events and also spoke to the audience who were anxiously waiting to listen to him, as undoubtedly he is mentor of many shining stars who got to the top. He was very much impressed with the overall performance of UVAS while he also congratulated the worthy Vice Chancellor on organising such a remarkable event.

         Last but never the least a delicious dinner was served to the distinguished gathering.A souvenir containing glimpses of the past events and detailed information regarding UVAS scholarship program was also distributed among the gathering. This was another successful event organised by UVAS, which will certainly be a part of golden memories.
