10th Annual Alumni Reunion 2019

10th Annual Alumni Reunion 2019 was held on Sunday 24th February, 2019 at the newly built state of the art Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Educational Complex at UVAS Ravi Campus, Pattoki. This was the first time that this event was organized at the new campus so that the guests could see the development and success their Alma mater has attained in a very short interval of time. Lt. Gen (R) Khalid Maqbool, Ex Governer Punjab was invited as the chief guest of the event while Mr. Akhlaq Ahmed Tarrar, former Secretary Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab, was the Guest of Honor. Meritorious Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha, the worthy Vice Chancellor UVAS welcomed the guests and a small tour of the new campus was arranged for the guests to give them an overview of different developments at Ravi Campus, Pattoki.

In the start, sports activities were arranged for the alumni which were actively participated and thoroughly enjoyed by them and it was none the less a nostalgic experience for the alumni. After the sports, a function consisting comedy, singing and maim performances by the students and professionals was arranged inside the auditorium. A documentary covering all the landmarks of UVAS in the latter past was shown to the audience which not only gave them a feeling of satisfaction but was also a reason of pride for every single alumnus of this institution. Worthy Vice Chancellor, also gave a presentation to the audience in his welcome address to give a persona of the current standings of all the development which has happened in the recent past while honorable chief guest and guest of honor were overwhelmed by the triumph of UVAS in a very short interval of time. Both the distinguished guests applauded the efforts of leadership in making this dream come true, which they saw together, not very long ago.

A big number of alumni from different parts of the country and abroad were present at this historic event. This time as the venue was at the new campus so transport facility from the City Campus to Ravi Campus was also provided to the guests, which was also an evocative ordeal for many by bringing back memories of the good old days with friends. In the last a delicious lunch containing all the food items of our domestic cuisine along with fresh dairy products of UVAS were served to the gathering. All the guests enjoyed the event a lot and took with them a lot of soothing memories to cherish for the times to come. (Few glimpses enclosed)
