Sports Complex

Introduction:

A variety of sports facilities including playing fields for cricket, hockey, football and athletics, a swimming pool for male students, Basketball courts and indoor game facilities in the hostels are available for the students (male and female) at the Ravi Campus. A well-equipped Gym is also available for the students to maintain their physical fitness. The sports facilities for male and female students are managed by the Directorate of Sports, UVAS Lahore. Each year competitive sports for both male and female students are organized at inter-departmental, and inter-university levels in a variety of sports like hockey, football, cricket, badminton, athletic, etc. To encourage development of sports, trophies and medals are awarded to the outstanding players, and winners of the sporting events.

• Flood lights cricket ground.
• Instalation of seprater genrator for the sports complex Ravi Campus.
• Upgradation of the Gym Facilty.
• New and modified machienery added in the gym by the Directorate of Sports, Lahore.

Aims & Objectives                                                                      

• Involve students to live healthy life through sports activities.
• Promote a planned approach for the provision of facilities and opportunities to participate in sports for the students of Ravi campus.
• Provide optimum-coaching facilities for the students (Male & Female) to encourage their participation in sports at different levels.
• To organize occasional celebrations and recreational tournaments arranged for the Students, staff and faculty like Independence Day Sports Tournaments etc.
