Theriogenology Graduate Club (TGC)

The Theriogenology Graduate Club (TGC) is the official club of the Department of Theriogenology at UVAS, dedicated to enhancing academic, research, and professional development among graduate students and faculty in the field of animal reproduction. Through a variety of activities, TGC provides a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, skill-building, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Objectives & Activities

  • Organize seminars, journal clubs, workshops, and guest lectures on topics in reproductive physiology, biotechnology, infertility, and reproductive health.
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer mentoring, academic support groups, and discussion forums.
  • Promote student-led research initiatives, symposiums, and collaborative projects.
  • Provide exposure to emerging trends, technologies, and innovations in the field of animal reproduction.
  • Connect students and alumni with industry professionals, researchers, and institutions.

  • Convener – Chairman, Department of Theriogenology
  • Academic Coordinators – Two Faculty members from Lahore and Pattoki campuses
  • President (elected) – Senior PhD scholar, provides overall leadership and presides over meetings and activities of the club.
  • General Secretary(elected) – MPhil/PhD student, responsible for coordination and records
  • Professional Secretary (elected) – Assists General Secretary, manages event logistics.
  • Finance Secretary / Treasurer (elected) – Handles financial matters of the club.
  • Information & Media Secretary (elected) – Manages communications, social media, and outreach.
