Biography                                                                             

Dr.Shahid Hussain Farooqi has joined the Department of Clinical Sciences in the discipline of Clinical Medicine at KBCMA College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVAS), Narowal (Sub-campus of UVAS, Lahore) as an Assistant Professor (BPS)on November 02, 2017.

His major responsibilities include teaching, veterinary clinical services, research and section’s administration. He is acting as in-charge outdoor clinic, CVAS Narowal. He is approved faculty member and registered veterinary medical practitioner with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC),Islamabad. He holds membership of Pakistan Society of Parasitologyand Society for animal reproduction of Pakistan. He has contributed in clinco-epidemiological studies of various tick borne diseases (TBDs) in bovine, canine, equine and caprine.Dr. Farooqi has 35research publications in well reputed national and international scientific journals.

  • Clinco-epidemiological studies on vector borne disease of animals, Studies on infectious conditions of dairy animal’s mammary gland, Venereal diseases, Clinical Pathology in infectious and non-infectious diseases, Studies on therapeutic values of native plants.
