Biography
Miss Rabia Khokhar is Lecturer Pharmaceutics at Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS), University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. She is a graduate of the pioneer batch (2008-2013) of Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. She has done her Masters in philosophy in Pharmaceutics from Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore, Pakistan.
She started her professional career as a Quality Assurance Pharmacist at Ideal Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. She has also served at Ghurki Trust and Teaching Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan as Clinical Pharmacist/ Lecturer. She was then selected at Lahore Pharmacy College (LPC), Lahore Medical and Dental College (LMDC), Lahore, Pakistan as Lecturer Pharmaceutics where she not only strengthened the theoretical background of the students but also equipped them with skills required in the practical field of pharmacy. Owing to her writing capabilities, she was also the part of the editorial board of the newsletter of the institute.
Her latest work is in the field of pharmaceutical formulation development with special expertise in the field of microparticulate systems of drug delivery. She is also involved in pharmaceutical journalism. Her valuable contribution in the book “Pharmaceutical Policy in Countries with Developing Healthcare System” is published under the prestigious banner of Springer International Publishing AG hit the international market in 2017 is a big success.
She joined at Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS), University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan in November, 2017 where along with academic activities, she is also performing the additional duties of Associate Director Students’ Affair (Girls), City Campus, UVAS, Lahore.
