CAUSE

Aflatoxins produced by Aspergillus spp. of fungi growing on stored feed.

SYMPTOMS

All species affected; there is blindness, circling, photosensitization, abortion, stumbling gait.

TREATMENT

Symptomatic.

CONTROL

Detoxification of contaminated feed currently being attempted.
