Department’s research priorities are focused on the production of economical and good quality animal protein by improving the assimilation of beneficial nutrients which are required for building up of the essential components of proteins (amino acids) with minimal financial inputs. This strategy will not only provide the community with good quality food resources at nominal prices but also, eventually address the issue of hunger/ food security at larger scale
