(JIANGNAN, CHINA) Phone: +92-42-99211449-50 ext. 284 BiographyMr. Haroon Jamshaid Qazi is Lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Faculty of Bio-Sciences, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore–Pakistan since February 02, 2015. He has completed his B.S. (Hons.) Dairy Technology in 2011 from Department of Dairy Technology, University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Lahore. Mr. Haroon has received his Master degree in Food Science, from Key laboratory of Hydrocolloids and Biotechnology, Jiangnan University, China. In his Master research, he has worked on food nanotechnology. The main aim of his research was to investigate the influence of freeze drying on microencapsulation of nanoemulsions loaded with bioactive compounds. Moreover Mr. Haroon expertise in preparation of emulsions of nano and micro scale, encapsulation of essential oils/flavors and their fortification in foods, in-vitro toxicity study of nanoparticles on Albino mice and edible films and their potential antimicrobial efficiency. During the course of his Master, he has published three articles and one publication is under review. Areas of Interest:
