In this training course, our focus was on the various processing techniques and ways in which fish products can be added value to increasing the profit fetched along the value chain. The target group was the final year undergraduate students seeking to penetrate the new market through product differentiation. Value addition creates an opportunity for new markets, ease in market penetration, competitive advantage and risk mitigation.
