Areas of Interest

  • Tissue Culture: subjecting various potential medicinal, nutaceutical or food plants to this techniques aiming production of desired traits along with mass production.
  • Phytochemistry: analyzing phytochemical qualitatively and quantitatively from different plants to build a preliminary base for making drugs and trating different ailments in long term.
  • Agricultural biotechnology and environmental pollution: working on exploring different ways to degrade agricultural and home based waste to make compost, an environment saving strategy
  • Plant Taxonomy and Ethnobotany: to explore diversity and uses of native plants as the surrounding areas of campus has a tremendous unexplored potential.
