Biography:

Saman Sana, is Lecturer, in the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. She has done B.S (Hons), M.S (Hons) and PhD with distinction in Environmental Sciences from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She has completed PhD research work from the University of Glasgow, UK. She is recipient of ‘Pakistan Scottish PhD Research Travel Grant Award, 2019’.

Her M.S work is focused on physiological and biochemical aspects of heavy metals hyperaccumulation in plants cultivated under in situ and in vitro Conditions, whereas her PhD work is based on the exposure of selected persistent organic pollutants to bovine in context to human health risks.
She visited Ankara, Turkey as master trainer of workshop on Environmental Impact Assessment in 2017. She has also worked as Lecture at Govt. College of Science Wahdat Road, Lahore from March, 2014 till March, 2015.
