Important information

Dear Students (only for those who are appearing in Final Exam for Social Science Subjects),
It is hereby notified that the online examinations for Social Science subjects will be conducted across all campuses of the University on 20/04/2026 and 21/04/2026 (All Campuses). All students are required to strictly comply with the following instructions. Non-compliance may result in inconvenience or inability to take the examination.

1. General Instructions

  • Students must reach the examination venue at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam at the designated venue .
  • Students are responsible for bringing their own device (Smartphone or Laptop) to attempt the exam. If any student doesn’t own a Smartphone or laptop, he/she must request the following respective email addresses well in advance before the Exam Day so that appropriate arrangements may be made for him/her.
  • Students must use Google Chrome to attempt the exam. An updated and working version of Google Chrome must be installed on the device prior to the examination day.
  • Each Student should be well informed, before the Exam day, about the exact venue his/her exam is going to take place as students’ attendance will only be marked and uploaded from the assigned venue verified by respective Faculty Member/ Invigilation Personnel. Any student who fails to mark his/her attendance at the allotted venue will not get his paper checked and will be considered 'Fail' in that particular subject. The information regarding Groups, Exam venues and Assigned/Allotted Students will be shared through UVAS Website, Official Emails, CTS Panels and Social Media platforms etc.

 2. Mandatory Credentials for all Students

All students must possess the following fully functional unique credentials prior to the examination:

  1. UVAS Email Username and Password
  2. UVAS CTS Username and Password
  3. EDUROAM Username and Password (Lahore Campus Students only)

Students must obtain UVAS Email and CTS credentials from their respective departments and are required to change the passwords immediately after their first successful login to prevent any mischief or misuse. These credentials should already be working on their Exam devices on Exam Day.

3. Minimizing/Switching Browser Tab! Not Allowed

  • After logging into the Online Examination System, students are not allowed to minimize or switch browser tabs. This action will be considered a cheating attempt, and the student will be automatically logged out of the system. This will be the first warning, and the student may log in again using their own credentials.
  • If a student attempts to minimize or switch browser tabs a second time, they will again be logged out of the examination system. This will be the final warning. The student will be allowed to log in again only through Master Credentials, which will be set by the IT representative or invigilation staff.
  • Upon a third such attempt, the student will not be allowed to continue the examination and will be required to leave the examination room.

 4. Network and Device Preparation

  • City Campus students will only take the exam through the EDUROAM network. Therefore, their UVAS Email, CTS Login, and EDUROAM Password must be configured on the exam device by Thursday, 16th April 2026.
  • The EDUROAM password is accessible through the student's CTS account. Students must secure both CTS and EDUROAM credentials well before the examination.
  • EDUROAM credentials must not be used on multiple devices, as doing so will cause network disconnection and may interrupt the exam.

 5. Password Security Protocol

  • Students must not share their passwords with anyone under any circumstances.
  • Passwords must not be saved on any device that does not belong to the student.
  • If a password has been shared or saved to anyone else previously, it must be changed immediately.
  • Students can change their UVAS Email and CTS passwords themselves; however, the EDUROAM password cannot be changed by students, and must therefore be kept secure at all times.

 6. Campus-Specific Wi-Fi Access

Students of the following campuses must contact their respective IT Personnel for exam’s Wi-Fi credentials:

  • Ravi Campus
  • CVAS Jhang Campus
  • Narowal Campus

Strict compliance with the above instructions is mandatory for all students.
