| World Water Day is celebrated every year  on 22nd March. Keeping in view the importance of the subject  and a global commitment towards common resources, Led by the United Nations  Environment Programme (UNEP), this year's theme set by UNEP is ''Water  for Peace" which focuses on the importance of water for the stability  and prosperity of the world. As climate change impacts are increasing, and the global population grows,  we must unite around protecting and conserving our most precious water resource. Keeping in view the importance of this day, the Department of  Environmental Sciences, Green Youth Movement (GYM) club UVAS, in collaboration  with the Senior Tutor Office is organizing an Awareness Walk followed  by a Seminar.  SCHEDULE FOR "THE WORLD WATER DAY"
