Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals who are not married to a foreign national to make appointments against the following positions in the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore. They are required to apply online in the University job portal www.uvas.edu.pk/jobs. The last date to submit online applications is Monday 15th June, 2026.
· The applicants shall submit four sets of signed hardcopy/printout of the same pre-filled online application to the Registrar’s Office, UVAS, Lahore, along with copies of their credentials by post/courier services. No application shall be received by hand. Fill in the online application form carefully, as no editing will be allowed after the final submission. The Last date to receive an application (hard copy) is Thursday, 18th June 2026.
· Those who have already submitted their applications against advertisements published by the University with 21st July 2023 and 10th June 2024 as the last date of submission of the application, they do not need to apply again. However, if they want to update/edit their applications, they can do so. In that case, they must submit updated / fresh hard copy and softcopy (where applicable) of the complete application to the Registrar’s Office within a stipulated time. Their age will be reckoned from the 21st July 2023 and 10th June, 2024 (when they submitted application) and their fee already deposited will remain valid.
· Fresh candidates can also apply for the advertised posts; however, their age will be reckoned from the last date of submission of applications i.e. Thursday, 18th June 2026.
· The University reserves the right to increase/ decrease/ withdraw the number of post(s), or withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.

**Temporary Likely to become Permanent
- Applicants can generate and deposit the fee of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) through ONLINE BANK CHALLAN in any branch of Bank Alfalah Ltd. in Pakistan. They are directed to attach the Original Paid Bank Challan with application for the above-mentioned posts. However, Special Persons are exempted from fee.
- All the fresh recruitments in the University shall be governed under the Punjab Defined Contribution Pension Scheme Rules 2025. However, all those already working on BPS within or outside the University applying through proper channel will be governed under old (BPS) Pension Rules. This will apply on the new/fresh recruitment regardless of the date of advertisement; subject to approval of the Syndicate.
- List of HEC recognized publications, certified copies of First page and index of HEC recognized Journal.
- Persons already employed in Government or other organizations should submit their applications through the proper channel within the due date. The requisite “No Objection Certificate” from present employer must reach in the Office of the Registrar before or on the last date for the receipt of applications; failing which, such applications may be treated as rejected and no call for interview will be issued.
- All Government employees who intend to apply for the posts through the proper channel shall clarify through the Heads of the attached departments that there are no pending inquiry / outstanding dues against them. Moreover, there are no adverse remarks in any of their annual confidential reports. These conditions are necessary for the grant of departmental permission certificate / No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- The applicant is required to specifically express in the application, if s/he was awarded any penalty during his/her studentship in the University/Institution. If s/he is found guilty of concealment of any of the relevant facts at any stage, his/her application will be liable to be rejected and in case of his/her appointment, s/he will be removed from university service without any notice.
- The candidates holding professional degrees (Undergraduate / Postgraduate) must be recognized / registered by the relevant council.
- The University reserves the right:
- not to fill any or all the advertised posts without assigning any reason.
- to adjust / transfer / post the selected candidate at any Campus / Centre of the University.
- to short list the applications / candidates in accordance with the criteria to be determined by the Vice Chancellor.
- to increase or decrease the number of posts.
