Online applications are invited from the eligible/suitable candidates for the position of Research Associateon purely contract basis at the consolidated salary package of Rs.50,000/- per month in a Research Project titled “Establishment of One Health Research and Development Centre” in the Department of Epidemiology & Public Health, UVAS, Main Campus Lahore, with the following qualification as well as terms and conditions:

QUALIFICATION:     

 

Eligibility: MPhil in One Health, Epidemiology, Public Health, Veterinary Public Health, or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution. Preference will be given to candidates holding an MPhil in One Health.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience: A motivated multidisciplinary candidate with relevant research experience in One Health, epidemiology, public health, zoonoses, infectious diseases, or disease surveillance; experience in field research, data management, epidemiological analysis, and scientific writing; and strong skills in research coordination, event management, communication, and digital content design (e.g., Canva). Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R), and experience in organizing workshops, seminars, and other research activities will be an advantage. Strong written and oral communication skills in English and the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams are essential.
