UVAS team of researchers visited PKLI, Lahore on Oct 17, 2024.
The visit aimed for developing research collaboration between both institutes and exchange the specific expertise. Team UVAS included Prof. Dr. Yasir Zahoor (IBBT), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Imran Rashid (Parasitology), Prof. Dr. Wasim Shahzad (IBBT), Prof. Dr. Hassan Mushtaq (Epidemiology), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nawaz (IoM), Dr. Muhammad Suleman (Pathology), Dr. Ghulam Mustafa (Pathology), Dr. Naveed Hussan (Surgery) and Dr. Muhammad Zahid Iqbal (Medicne).
The PKLI team was lead by Prof. Dr. Irfan Ahmed (Director Research and Consultant Hepatobiliary Surgeon), other members included Prof. Dr. Kashif Asghar (Associate Director-Clinical Research), Muhammad Hassan (Research Fellow), Arsalan Saleem (Biostatistician), Asim Farooq, Saira Imtiaz and Anoosha Tariq (Research Fellow).
