Collaboration with NGOs to tackle the SDGs (student volunteering programs, research programs, development of educational resources)

• Dr. Gulbeena Saleem organized two seminars/orientations in collaboration with CIRCLE Women Association, aimed at empowering undergraduate and postgraduate female students as well as female non-teaching staff. The sessions provided exposure to personal and professional growth, digital literacy, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurial skills. 1st seminar May 2, 2024 and 2nd seminar May 29, 2025.
• Prof. Dr. Raheela Akhtar Member of International Veterinary Vaccinology Network (IVVN) and HIC-VAC, Imperial College London, supporting global zoonoses control.

• The Department in collaboration with “Strategic Scientific and Technological Innovation, International Cooperation Special Funds, the National Key Research and Development Program of China” (2016YFE0203200) under the project entitled “Study on Avian Major Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control and Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Platform has trained three students.
