| Objectives
                       The project directly related to objectives of  national development through  establishment of research &  training facilities in pet breeding. It had the  following components: 
                           
                         
                          Establishment of one  Canine breeding centre  Establishment of one  Cat breeding centre  Establishment of one  Aviculture centre of variety of parrots, pheasants, peacocks & love birds.Establishment of  Research/ academic block for training of 150 under graduate students, 50 short  courses & 10-20 post graduate students.Establishment of dog  training Centre  (Guard, tracking, attack  and narcotics). Availability of pure  pups, kitten and birds in a very economic price for the general public.                                                                                     Pet Animals Stock  Breeds of Dog Available

                        The training as guard dogs, tracking dogs & sniffer dogs has been started. The  handlers have been fully trained for training of pets. Training of dogs in  private sector will be started in future. It is our great honour that our dogs  are used by Police deptt. for high security purpose on different events.
                       Guidelines Feeding of dogs: Adult formula (Feeding twice  a day) 
                        Daily feed requirement of 20 kg  adult dog is 500-700 gm

                        A highly deadly disease of  dogs and cats and is communicable to human being. Usually spread by bite wound  or contact of saliva with the mucous membrane. After the onset of clinical  signs the only result is death. There is no treatment of the disease only cure  is through vaccination.                       back to top   2. Canine Parvo Virus  Infection 
                        This is highly fatal disease especially in puppies  manifested by severe gastroenteritis, timely diagnosis and aggressive treatment  is required to save the life of your pup but sometime the animal may expire  even after aggressive treatment. 
 3. Canine Distemper 
  It attacks respiratory, GIT and nervous system, if treated  in initial stage the animal will respond well but if animal start to show  neurological sign these will persist throughout the life. 
 4. Infectious Canine  Hepatitis (blue eye) 
  This disease primarily attack liver but can also affect the  kidneys, eyes and other organs. The dog may develop the sign of jaundice and  there is temporary clouding of the cornea. Recovered dog spread the infection  for more than 6 months. 
 5. Infectious Canine Tracheobronchitis  (Kennel Cough) 
  It is highly contagious upper respiratory disease which  effect dog of all ages caused by both virus and bacteria. Signs like dry harsh  hacking cough, sneezing, retching and occasionally fever. Treatment is usually  successful. 6. Leptospirosis 
  Disease caused by bacteria and is manifested by respiratory,  GIT, urological and nervous signs. If properly treatment will respond to the  treatment. Cat Diseases: Feline Panleukopenia: (feline distemper, feline  parvo) 
  The disease is very hardy to remove and signs like vomiting diarrhea  and appearance of third eye lid. Hunched over postural appearance are usually  apparent.  Feline Viral  Rhinotracheatis, Feline Calci Virus Infection 
  Both of these are highly contagious respiratory infections  of cats. In both of these diseases flu like symptoms appears. back to top   Control &  Vaccination plan of dogs and  cats
