Biography:
Ms. Rakhshanda Batool, is Lecturer, in Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, Pakistan. She holds B.Sc. (hons), M.Sc.(hons) in Agriculture (Human Nutrition) with distiction and Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (PGD- Dietetics) from Punjab Khyber pukhtunkhwa The agriculture University Peshawar. She is a member of Nutrition Society of Nutrition, Professional Member of Pakistan Nutrition and Dietetic Society. She is an active member of Khyber pakhtunkhwa health care commission.
In her Master research, she has worked on the subject obesity and anemia in pregnant women and pregnancy outcome. The main aim of her research was to investigate the ratio of obesity and anemia in pregnant ladies in their third trimester and to check the outcome also.
Moreover she has a total of five years’ experience in clinical nutrition in an allied health care based hospital.
