2024Department of Meat Science and Technology, UVAS, engages in international collaboration and research to review and compare approaches, ultimately developing international best practices for tackling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By sharing their insights and expertise, they contribute to a global pool of knowledge, helping countries worldwide adopt more effective strategies for achieving the SDGs related to meat production, food security, and sustainability. This collaborative effort enhances the collective ability to address these critical global challenges. 2023The Meat Department at UVAS actively collaborates internationally to gather and measure data for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The department is actively working with USAID, UNIDO, ASF, FAO, ITC, European Union and many other international funding agencies to uplift the livestock sector, particularly the meat sector, involving farmer to product developing processors at small and corporate levels. This participation strengthens the international community's capacity to make informed decisions and take collective action towards a more sustainable future.
