Educational outreach activities on the importance of milk and dairy products in the schools of Lahore and Pattoki regions involve tailored lectures and demonstrations designed to engage students and the community. These sessions highlight the nutritional benefits of milk, including its role in bone health, growth, and overall development. Demonstrations often involve interactive activities like milk tasting, learning about dairy production processes, and understanding the journey of milk from farm to table. These outreach initiatives aim to educate young audiences on the importance of incorporating dairy products into their daily diets, emphasizing both health and sustainability aspects of dairy consumption.

Every year on World Milk Day, the Dairy Department of UVAS takes an active role in educational outreach, partnering with local schools and universities. They deliver customized lectures and captivating demonstrations to students, effectively heightening consumer awareness about safe milk practices and championing a "Safe Milk, Safe Nation" ideology. These endeavors empower young minds with in-depth insights into milk production, processing, and quality control, ultimately fostering healthier dairy consumption habits and promoting the nation's well-being.

2022

For the university's students and employees, PG students are creating flavored milk, Laban and Cheese as part of this project. The major goal is to motivate faculty and staff to incorporate high-quality dairy products into their diets.

2021

Department of Dairy Technology arranged a brainstorming session in collaboration with LnDD under the supervision of National Food Security and Research and presented the ways to improve the livestock sector in Punjab province particularly and at national level as whole.
