 BiographyMr. Muhammad Asim Ikram is working as a Lecturer (November 2015 till to date) in the Department  of Dairy Technology, Faculty of Animal Production and Technology, UVAS, Ravi  Campus. He holds his B.S. (Hons.) and M.Phil. degree in Dairy Technology.  Currently He enrolled his Ph.D. in the same department. As, the phenomenon of food processing  especially the dairy processing is unique and exclusive in the country, alongside  processing Dairy Microbiology plays an important role in the processing and  shelf life of these products. He went through a similar phase during his M.  Phil in Dairy Technology (Department of Dairy Technology, UVAS, Ravi Campus,  Pattoki) when He worked on the microbiology of the pasteurized milk (Incidence  of Spore Former Microbes in Pasteurized Milk available in Lahore District) that  focused his attentions to explore more horizons in Dairy microbiology. This  made him to study various known phenomenon that are in play and the aspects  that needed to be explored. He completed my master’s degree alongside his  Teaching Assistant. He has more than 05 years of teaching, research and  academic experience in the UVAS. Currently he is a member of supervisory  committees of postgraduate students working in the field of dairy Technology.  He is the In-charge of B.S Dairy Technology class and different Dairy Technology  Labs also. He remained the member of various management committees of UVAS from  time to time like “Spring Festival Committee”, “Mini sports Galla”, “Printing  and Publication of in the conference of Trends and Innovation in Food  Processing Technology: Prospects and Challenges 7-8th November, 2018”, “Admission  cell”, “Disciplinary committee of Annual sports day”, “UVAS Doodh Mela and Cattle Show”, “annual  dinner at Ravi Campus pattoki”, “Uvas Alumni Association  Re-Union”, “FAO and different visits to different Dairy  processing facilities”, “Member of a committee Printing and Publication and Secretary of committee of Souvenir and  certificate of in National  Conference on Recent Trends in Food Processing and Technology, 15-16th  November,2017 . He also worked as a  Secretory Board of Studies. He also having responsibility of different projects  like, Managing the  production, processing and distribution of different Dairy products (Flavored  Milk, Yoghurt, Laban, Lassi, cheese). He also having the responsibilities of All  the processing activities of the project ‘Development of camel milk value chain  by adopting modern supply chain mechanism for enhancing farmers profitability  in Punjab’ a project by Govt. of Pakistan. In addition to other also having the  responsibility to Monitoring/rectification of trouble shooting of installed  dairy equipment’s at B block of dairy milk pure project. He also worked as  facilitator in the International Buffalo Congress (IBC 2019)”  on February 18-19th, 2019. He is a resource person of many Microbial  and analysis training relating to Dairy Products at UVAS.  M.PHIL.
