Laboratory Facilities
Department laboratories are under the evolutionary phase. There are different modern and
sophisticated instruments available including Amino Acid Analyzer, Gas Chromatography, Bomb
Calorimeter and flame photometer, Fiber Extraction Apparatus, Spectrophotometer etc.
Undergraduate and post graduate laboratories are well equipped and students remain engage
in learning different analytical skills.
Commercial Activities
a) Laboratory Analysis
Department is providing services being laboratory analysis to different government, private and other
agencies. The rate list of the test performed is as fol lowing.
b) Preparation of Mineral Mixture
:
In Pakistan, due to mineral deficiencies animal suffer from different nutritional deficiency diseases like
rickets, osteomalacia, hemoglobinuria, pica, tetany, milk fever and ultimately low productivity. To
overcome this situation our department started preparation and sale of mineral mixture at commercial
level.
