Report - 6TH ANNUAL ALUMNI REUNION 2015

6th Annual Alumni Reunion 2015 was held on 30th March 2015. This time venue was the newly inaugurated Sports Complex. Keeping up the traditions of distinguished UVAS family, as expected a large number of alumni and guests from all over Pakistan, India and Nepal participated in the event. Dr. Muhammad Aslam (CEO Islamabad Feeds), who is also an alumnus, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha himself received and welcomed the guests. He in his address clearly instated the developments made in the past years by the university and he also threw light on the contributions and interests shown by the alumni towards the uplifting of their Alma Mater. After that guests were presented with some extraordinary stage performances in the form of funny drama, song, cultural dance and poetry by the faculty members and students, which were highly appreciated by the distinguished gathering.

The honorable Chief Guest Dr. Muhammad Aslam in his address told that he feels proud to be an alumnus of such a great institution which has proven its motto as “Provoking Potentials & Producing Potentials”. He was also very much overwhelmed by looking at the standards achieved by UVAS in the recent past which bespeaks the hard work and dedication of the worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha and his team.

A sovenior containing some memorable glances of the past events was also presented to all the guests so that they could relive their older memories too. In the end, the guests were presented with a delicious dinner.

Overall the event was a complete success and another milestone in the history of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore.
