- Grows wild from the Ravi Eastwards, is planted in Sindh and Mirpur
DESCRIPTION:
- Up to 25 m high deciduous Tree
- Leaves are 7-20 cm by 4-8cm, opposite, simple, obovate, entire, acute or obtuse, glabrous above.
- Petiole 2-5 cm long
- Flowers are yellow or dull white with 10 petals, are hermaphrodite.
- Calyx tubular, glabrous, with acute lobes.
- Fruit is an ovoid drupe, glabrous, shiny,4-6 ribbed ,yellowish green when dry
