INTRODUCTION

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Life Sciences Program at UVAS is an intense and demanding experience, which requires two years of study. The program is designed to develop individuals with outstanding managerial skills and expertise in various capacities including decision making, management of financial and physical resources, business environment audit, entrepreneurship techniques, strategic planning, marketing and human resource management in the industrial and economic environment of Pakistan.

  Program Design

The MBA (Life Sciences) program comprises six semesters study. Each semester is of 16 weeks including one week of final exams. The total number of credit hours is 92, having 18 courses each of 3 credit hours, 8 courses with 4 credit hours and one Management Research Project of 6 credit hours. There are three courses for each specialization track; and Management Research Project will have to be completed in the relevant area of specialization.

To be eligible for the degree the student must obtain a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 and completion of Management Research Project (MRP) is compulsory.
