1. The syndicate shall consist of :-

The Vice-Chancellor, who shall be its Chairman.

Two senior scientists/academicians of related disciplines of the University to be nominated by the Chancellor.

The Secretary to Government of the Punjab, Livestock and Dairy Development Department or his nominee not below the rank of Additional Secretary.

One nominee of the Higher Education Commission.

One Dean to be nominated by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.

One Professor, one Associate Professor, one Assistant Professor and one such Lecturer as has completed a minimum of two years service in the University to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor with the approval of the Chancellor.

Three persons of eminence from amongst stakeholders including professionals from relevant disciplines of industry/trade to be nominated by the Chancellor.

The Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.

One Principal of the affiliated colleges to be nominated by the Chancellor.

The Secretary to Government of the Punjab, Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Department or his representative not below the rank of Additional Secretary.

The Secretary to Government of the Punjab, Finance Department or his representative not below the rank of Additional Secretary.

The Secretary to Government of Punjab, Agriculture Department or his representative not below the rank of Additional Secretary.

The Registrar, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore (Secretary)

2. Members of the Syndicate, other than ex-officio members, shall hold office for three years.
