Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management was established with the establishment of University in 2002 with a vision to promote business education to Life-Science professionals. This faculty has two departments; one department of Livestock Economics and Business and second department of Statistics and Computer Sciences. Information Technology (IT) centre of UVAS also works under it?s umbrella. The Human Resource of the faculty includes permanent, contractual and visiting faculty members. The University is striving hard to bring more experienced and educated faculty to strengthen it?s manpower.

   As in today?s Business environment when everything is rapidly being commercialized. Starting from general business to health services every service has come under the ambit of business, the need of skilled manpower, well equipped with business skills and innovative techniques is the need of the hour. Keeping in view these dynamics of environment this faculty has responded well in time by starting MBA (Life Sciences) program. In future the faculty has also planned to start new undergraduate and postgraduate programs including PGD (Postgraduate Diploma) and other short courses for Life-Science professionals.

   As the business knowledge and skills are required by every Life-Sciences professional but it?s importance increases for fast growing Agriculture and Livestock Sectors of this Agro Based Pakistani economy. This faculty will put it?s all resources to cater the future emerging business challenges and needs of Livestock sector in particular and Life Science field in general.
