Biography

Dr. Muhammad Adil Rasheed is serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, UVAS and holds DVM, M.Phil in the discipline of Pharmacology and Toxicology. He has over 09 years of teaching, research and administration experience. He developed a chromatography laboratory in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology which is equipped with High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) and spectrophotometers. He has Performed an additional duty as of Research Officer Toxicology in the Project “Quality Control Laboratory for Testing Livestock and Food of Animal Origin with Reference to WTO”, UVAS, Lahore. He has won two research grants as Co-Principal Investigator from HEC and Ministry of Health Pakistan. Currently he is conducting a research   project on Bio-Equivalence Studies of Various Products of Amoxicillin in Buffalo Calves, funded by HEC. He has supervised 05 post graduate students and published 04 research papers in refereed scientific journals. Dr. Adil is the author of four international and national books. He is also Technical Editor of Agro Veterinary News Index published in Pakistan.  He has assisted many NGOs in conducting research on medicinal plants in Pakistan. Dr. Adil is also Member, of Scientific and Technical Committee & Editorial Review Board on Biological and Life Sciences, World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology and Veterinary Science Research, Bioinfo Editorial System, EBSCO Publishing, USA. He has also served as member syndicate of University. He has more than 20 articles published in various national newspapers and veterinary magazines. He  is also the member of  various technical committees  in the University.
