Biography

Mr. Jibran Hussain is presently serving as lecturer at Poultry Research and Training Centre, C- Block, Ravi Campus Pattoki where he is also pursuing his Ph. D in the field of Poultry Breeding and Genetics. His Ph. D. dissertation is on “Response to Selection for 3 Week Body Weight in Japanese Quail for 3 Generations”. He has also served as lecturer cum farm officer at Avian Research and Training Centre having vast experience of Quail incubation, rearing, breeding, processing, value addition and marketing. He is also working as a key scientist in various research projects like Development of meat type Japanese Quail with higher body weight (Coturnix Japonica) acclimatized to indigenous managemental conditions through 6 generations of  Selective breeding programme.

Mr. Jibran also has a vast experience of working with the private sector of Pakistan poultry industry and has served in renowned organizations like Sabir’s Poultry and Panjnad Feeds.
