Biography

Dr. Kashif Nauman is serving as a lecturer in Department of Meat Technology, UVAS and holds DVM, M.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Veterinary Microbiology from University of Agriculture Faisalabad. Before joining UVAS he served in Meat Industry and Livestock and Dairy Development Department for 3 years. He is a member of Supervisory committee of 01 student. Dr. Kashif Nauman is author of one chapter in an international book and presented papers in many national and international conferences. As a Resource Person he presented meat and related issues in many national workshop and trainings arranged by TDAP, L&DDD and UVAS. He was selected for training on Meat Processing by Punjab Agriculture and Meat Company (PAMCO) in Mashhad Meat Industrial Complex (MMIC) Mashhad, Iran in 2011. He also got training from Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and Dubai Municipality (Abattoir Section) on Meat Quality and Inspection systems in 2009.

He is a member of America Meat Association. He was Member Board of Directors of PAMCO up to 2011.

Area of Interest

His areas of interest are Meat Processing, Meat Microbiology and Meat Biotechnology
