The world has been experiencing an unprecedented expansion of information and scientific knowledge for the last few decades. The quality of human existence is improving with the application of innovative ideas generated by the body of knowledge. With the tremendous explosion of information in every sphere of life, it has become difficult for any institution or establishment to harness ever-increasing flow of information at one place. Similarly, developing expertise, resources and state-of-the-art facilities for hands-on training for all existing sciences by an establishment is just not possible. In order to maximize learning opportunities by sharing of intellectual and physical resources, and to best prepare its graduates for facing future challenges, Directorate of External Linkages, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, is making enormous efforts in establishing linkages with public and private academic institutions, industries and organizations both in-land and abroad. The following is a reflection of such linkages:
